preval.lv, hereinafter referred to as Preval, is an online marketplace that allows users to buy, post their goods for free and sell them at a price set by Latbay, from which Latbay is entitled to deduct a commission.

2. Preval acts as an intermediary between the Seller and the Buyer.

3. Preval is not responsible for:

• the existence of the goods;
• the quality of the goods;
• incorrect dimensions of the goods, defects in items, parts;
• damage or other defects in the goods;

4. Preval does not warrant:

• The seller’s ability to sell the goods;
• The buyer’s ability to pay for the goods;
• the successful completion of the sale/purchase transaction.

By registering on the portal, users agree to the terms of use of the portal.

Payment for the goods is made only through online banking offered by a credit institution registered in the Republic of Latvia.

Payment for the goods shall be made by the Buyer transferring the amount of money specified in the Seller/LatBay invoice to the Seller’s bank account

The invoice number must be indicated in the payment order.

The contract for the sale of the goods is directly between the Seller and the Buyer.

Preval is entitled to withhold a commission fee set at 7 per cent of the price of the goods as quoted by the Seller.

Preval shall provide technical services and supplies.

If the Seller has not dispatched the goods within 7 working days from the specified dispatch time, the order is automatically cancelled.

If the Buyer, after receipt of the goods, points out defects in the goods caused by the fault of the Seller, Preval shall initiate a dispute procedure.

During the dispute, Preval has the right to request and receive from the Buyer and/or the Seller any information related to the subject matter of the dispute, to apply to law enforcement authorities to protect the legitimate interests of the Buyer or the Seller, and to temporarily block or suspend the Buyer’s or the Seller’s account.

Preval shall not be liable for any transactions of any kind outside Preval;

Preval does not register users under the age of 18. The User is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided and Preval shall not be liable if the User is found to be at fault, including the provision of false information. Users are responsible for the accuracy of the information posted on their profiles.

Preval is not responsible for the information posted in users’ profiles.

Users of the Portal shall respect each other in their communication.

Users shall not use foul language or slurs in their communications with each other.

By registering on the portal, users agree to the terms of use of the portal.
